Perfect Score

It happens, but not often, according to Friars coach Tim Dearie, who noted his team registered a “perfect score” in defeating St. the John Baptis 15-50 on Sept. 10.

But, for the 11th ranked team in New York State it could happen again as the team that uses long runs, and speed and strength workouts to get ready for the season is expected to be the class of the Catholic League.

“We ran faster than we fully expected,” said Dearie referring to his runners, who placed first through seventg in beating the Cougars.
